Set yourself apart from other graduate students--Doctoral of Arts focuses on college teaching and pedogogy
Check out our Doctoral of Arts (D.A.) degree in Biology --D.A. programs require broader study in the disclipine, more awareness of interdisciplinary relationships, and, not least, theoretical and practical preparation in pedagogy. You can also get a minor in college teaching as part of a PhD program if you are interested in pursuing academic position.

Pocatello and surrounding area
Experience Pocatello and surrounding area --a natural outdoor laboratory and recreational wonderland.
-Pocatello is a small, gritty town--because of this, you are part of a close and connected community, an experience that is often lost in a larger city.
-It is close to world class trail running, mountain biking, climbing, river sports, and skiing---need I say more.
~2.5 hr to Grand Targhee, Jackson Hole, and Wasatch Range ski areas (Alta, Snowbird, etc)
-Map below shows the route for the Pocatello 50 race (we are surrounded by trails and national forest).
